New Scholarship- Darlene Boroff

The Wood River Community Centennial Foundation is honored to announce the establishment of a new scholarship for Wood River Rural High School Seniors. A new scholarship was established to honor Darlene Eickhoff Boroff. “Darlene was an inspiration who dedicated her life to faith, education, empowering others, and bettering the community. She had a servant’s heart that led her to volunteer and hold office with several boards and committees for over 60 years. She was an elected member of the ESU 10 Board of Directors for 38 years. She assisted with many educational movements during her time on the ESU 10 Board. Her vision always remained centered on creating a safe, empowering, and inclusive environment for all students to have equal educational opportunities.
