2023 Annual Letter

2023 Annual Letter

November 1, 2023

Since 1984 the Wood River Community Centennial Foundation “have been there for you” in helping the many generous donors and benefactors support Wood River organizations to foster “the Good Life” we enjoy here in Wood River.

At the organizational meetings the goal was to have a community foundation that could serve as a “vessel” to collect and hold money so that when a need was identified funds would be available. The mission of the Wood River Community Foundation is to encourage, receive and administer contributions and gifts for the benefit of the Wood River area. All organizations are invited and encouraged to submit grant requests that will be distributed to a tax-exempt organization to maintain our tax-exempt status. With funds available many times these requests are approved by matching funds; that is part of the financing will come from the Foundation and part from the requesting organization.

As of November 1, 2023 $893,274.00 has been awarded to various organizations for projects, programs and scholarships for the Wood River community. The WRCCF Board encourages your financial support to keep building on the Proud Past” and ensure there are funds available for projects and programs underway now and the “Promising Future” of our community.

All (old-timers and new residents) are encouraged to support by memorial gifts and periodic gifts. Take advantage of safe and secure online giving by using the QR Code
