Gifts can be donated by several forms of classes. Listed below are the classes of gifts to serve the various desires of donors.
Honor of…
A Book of Honor was created to provide a dignified and enduring tribute to the honor of an event or person. Ex) for someone’s 90th birthday, or for an anniversary when you don’t know what to get someone. A minimum gift of $10 will assure the inscription of the name and or event in the Book of Honor.
Memorials…
A Book of Memory was created to provide a dignified and enduring tribute to the memory of a departed friend or relative. A gift of $20 or more, given in memory of a loved one, assures the inscription of the name of the departed in The Book of Memory. Gifts that total or exceed $100 for any memorial receive a “special mention” designation.
Named Funds…
Memorials or contributions given in any amount equivalent to $500 or more will be placed, on request of the donor, in a separate account. The donor may also name this fund and designate its use for a particular purpose.
Founder’s Fund…
The Founder’s Fund was created as an organizational builder. This gift of $750 becomes part of the Founder’s General Endowment Fund which is ongoing. Only its interest earnings are spent. It may be made as a single or collective gift or pledge.
Benefactor’s Fund…
Benefactor status is obtained by a single $1,000 contribution to the General Fund. The fund may accumulate to $10,000, at which time the donor becomes a Grand Benefactor.
Bequests…
The Wood River Community Centennial Foundation, Inc., is an appropriate charity to be identified in a person’s estate plan. In designating the Wood River Centennial Foundation in the estate plan, a person helps ensure the community’s continued vibrancy into the future.
Making Contributions…
WRCCF is a qualified tax exempt IRC 501(c)(3) organization in good standing with the IRS. Contributions can be sent to the addresses below, they may be left at the Heritage Bank in Wood River.
