Have you been a Beneficiary of the Wood River Community Foundation Grants? Do you know anyone who has received a WRCCF Sponsored Scholarship? Do you know any students who through the years have taken part in ASKUS programs, Close-up, FBLA, and other sponsored school programs? Did you ever use the original outdoor walking track or the Fitness Center at the WRRHigh School? Have you enjoyed Celebrate Wood River and the programs at the WRRHS Theatre? Do you know anyone who has benefited from the grants to the Baseball program? In the past 30 years over $480,000 has been approved for grants to the Wood River area.
To fund these grants the Foundation needs YOUR support. That is why we are asking for your support on May 1 and make a donation on line to GoBigGive.org A contribution of $10.00 or more will help the Foundation earn the incentive and bonus prizes. You can type in Wood River Community Centennial Foundation or find WRCCF in the list of Hall County entries. While you are giving you may want to check out other organizations that you would like to support.
The Wood River Community Centennial Foundation will be hosting coffees on May 1. You are invited to join your friends at the WR Senior Citizens Center from 9:00 to 10:30 for coffee and donuts. All donations received in that time frame will qualify for WR Dollar certificates.
Please make plans to join us on May 1 and support the Wood River Community Foundation and surrounding organizations that are working to make this area the “good life.”
