As the Wood River Community Centennial foundation nears its 30th anniversary it was pleased to be a part of the 2014 Funfest celebrating “Wood River School Daze.”
The Wood River Community Centennial Foundation entry “Hay”… Wood River Foundation Supports Education was made possible with the help of Simon and Mandi Wagoner and some special Wood river Elementary students.
Since its inception the Wood river Community Centennial Foundation with the support of loyal donors has awarded over $456,995.00 to the Wood River community; 55% of this amount has been for education related grants. The education grants include:
Wood River Elementary School 18,257.00
Wood River Rural High 80,818.39
Scholarships (354) 152,940.00
…..and the newest program, the After School Program beginning its second year $3,831.00.
